Phil wanted to get a real tree this year because he doesn't like our fake tree. I decided that if we were going to do a real tree we were going to go all out. So we went to a Christmas tree farm near by and cut down our own tree. It was a beautiful snowy evening. We hope in back on a wagon pulled by a john deer and they take you on a ride to the type of tree that you want and then we got to walk around and decide which one we want. Then Phil cut it down and Jackson pushed it over, While the girls called timber. They then shake it off for us and tie it to our van. While we stood by the fire and sipped apple cider. The big kids made little bead candy cane ornaments for the tree and they enjoyed helping me decorate it. I made a tree skirt for the bottom and I also posted a picture of our new stocking i made too. We are ready and excited for christmas.

Yeah! It looks like you had so much fun! I am in the process of making a tree skirt. I think I am making it a bigger deal than I should. It should be simple.
